HAM(S) envisions a society where members of the Dalit community and other marginalized groups have greater representation in politics and policymaking. By consistently aligning with the BJP-led NDA alliance in Bihar, HAM(S) seeks to ensure that Dalit interests are represented within the ruling dispensation

We Will Make History Together

The primary mission of HAM(S) appears to be to represent and advocate for the interests of marginalized communities, particularly Dalits, in the state of Bihar. The party’s founder, Jitan Ram Manjhi, himself comes from the Musahar community, one of the most disadvantaged Dalit sub-castes in Bihar

As a party founded by Jitan Ram Manjhi, who himself comes from the Musahar community (one of the most disadvantaged Dalit sub-castes in Bihar), HAM(S) aims to be a voice for Dalits and other oppressed sections of society in Bihar.

HAM(S) seeks to politically empower the Dalit community and ensure their representation in the state legislature and other positions of power. Manjhi’s own rise from humble origins to becoming Chief Minister of Bihar serves as an aspirational story for the party’s Dalit base.

While HAM(S) has been primarily active in Bihar since its formation, the party seems to have ambitions of growing its presence in other states, especially in South India. In August 2024, HAM(S) formed a new division focused on the southern states, indicating its intent to become a pan-India party representing marginalized communities
